SATA 3 SSD on laptop via SATA 2 or via USB-3.0?
Hello!
The laptop is SATA 2, so the drive's SATA 3 SSD is downgraded to SATA 2?
As it were, it’s enough with the head for this laptop, BUT the cognitive mind saw that there are SATA 3 -> USB-3.0 adapters.
As far as I understand, USB-3.0 is faster than SATA 2, is there any point in connecting an external SSD through such an adapter in order to use the speeds of SATA 3 drives via USB?
Thank you.

does it make sense to externally connect an SSD through such an adapterIf you need a portable drive - a great solution.
The laptop is SATA 2, so the drive's SATA 3 SSD is downgraded to SATA 2?It is not suppressed, but simply works according to the SATA2 standard. How sad is this for you?
