SAN switch from IBM, and storage from HP - will there be troubles?

Good afternoon.
We purchase equipment for the Hewlett Packard server and storage project. We still have an IBM SAN24B-5 SFP+ SAN switch in stock, we want to connect an HP MSA 2040 ES LFF storage system to it + a set of HPE MSA 2040 8Gb SW FC SFP 4 Pk transceivers to it Article: C8R23A 2 pcs.
Tell me, will SANs from IBM and storage systems from HP get along, or can troubles get out?
In theory, SAN only drives traffic and it should not care what is connected to it, or am I wrong?

Sans, although they are marked / produced by different companies, in fact they have the same inside.
So don't bother what dignity to take - take what you have
