Russian freelancer in Thailand: name and legal status?
Hello, Khabrovites!
After a period of working for my uncle and my projects, I want to go back to breaking all heavy on a difficult journey called freelancing. Only now - on foreign exchanges like odesk. I do not know all the intricacies of all exchanges, and I would like not to make mistakes at the very beginning of the journey. The following questions arose:
1) Is it OK to use an alias? Those. I create a certain brand and work on a portfolio. My first and last names don't sound very euphonious in English (and they are quite long) - can you think of another name for yourself? Will there be any problems later (validation on exchanges, withdrawal of money - whatever).
2) How does the receipt of earned funds actually take place? I live in Thailand, I have Russian bank cards (but they are unlikely to work), I don’t want to accept Paypal on a local bank card (you can get into trouble with the local tax or bank).
Thank you all very much for your replies!

Odessa, for verification, asked for a scan of my passport and a scan of a utility bill.
Here you can read the blog of the Novosibirsk admin from Thailand: pumainthailand.com/ there is a little bit about oDesk and a chewed “FAQ” on Tai. Maybe you will find answers to some questions.
2) Open an account there (for example, in Kasikorn Bank) and you will receive on it. Visa card and internet bank are attached to the account. There are no difficulties and problems with the bank or tax there.
And here comes Puma.
For validation, the official surname and first name are required.
Only the name can be left visible on the exchange.
You get a payoneer card, it is American, issued by almost all non-Russian exchanges, neither the Russian tax nor the Thai will be able to follow it.

1. Normal
2. Get a local card, for example, in Bangkok Bank, attach it to Paypal, you don’t have to be afraid about taxes, you don’t row millions there, so no one will pay attention to you if you don’t scream about money at every corner.
If you do not work with Russian clients, then getting money from a Russian card is also not a problem, in any ATM (-150 baht per transaction) or with a passport and card to any bank branch
