Running animation of 3d model on QML?

Hello, comrades :) share your experience or ideas on how to make a run animation in QML? Let's say I have a 3d model of some creature, how to control its limbs? I read
a post about a habr-refrigerator . But there, unlike the 3D model, separate parts of the object are used, for example, the refrigerator door is a separate 3D model that is very easy to manage. What if I have, say, a dragon as a model? Will it really be necessary to "take apart" it into parts, import it as separate objects, and then assemble this dragon piece by piece in a kumle? It looks like a bicycle))
P.S. qt-project.org/forums/viewthread/47580 - I also read this, but as I understand it, this is only for 2D models

Most likely, it's normal - no way. This requires support for skinning and skeletal animation. QtQuick3D does not support any of this. Still, this is not a game engine, but just a simple graphics library.
