Router eats internet?

Good afternoon.
The essence of the problem:
The speed of the Internet is gradually decreasing with an enviable frequency. Only restarting the router helps. Moreover, the problem is in the router - it was found out empirically.
At the same time, torrents, as a rule, always work perfectly. It turns out that the http protocol is buggy.
Connected to the router:
1 desktop computer via LAN
1 desktop computer via WI-FI
4 WI-FI smartphones
1 WI-FI tablet
ASUS RT-N16
DD-WRT
The processor of the router is overclocked to the maximum value. Modified: there is a large radiator on all heating elements. Overheating is not observed, the temperature is kept at its nominal value.
What could be the problem?

QOS enabled? Maybe you have a torrents priority there and eats the entire channel?

Do not admit that the problem is in the overclocked processor despite the fact that it does not overheat?
After all, nevertheless, it does not work at regular frequencies, which means it does not guarantee normal operation.
