Router based on 1U server platform (50Gbps, BGP)?
There is a channel for 50 gigabits, but there is no suitable hardware. We want to temporarily use a machine with Xeon 2699v3 + 128Gb as a router, in order to accept 50 gigabits of optics we need a network card, can you tell me how to take it for such a task? 50 gigabits without NAT will be chewed by such a platform if Quagga is plugged in, or is there something more progressive now?
