Rights to a board game to port it to iOS?

Hey habr!
I wanted to make an application for the iPad out of my favorite childhood board game. Early 90s game, German, unknown. The German Wikipedia says it is currently owned by some small board game company.
Share your experience: are game owners willing to make contact in such a situation, what to expect, what money, what rights and restrictions? Maybe they will only be happy if I advertise their game with an application?
I don’t really want to change the name / design so as not to bother with the rights.
Thank you!

Here, no one can tell better than the copyright holders)
I have experience of participating in the creation of an unofficial android version of Magic the Gathering, there were disagreements with Wizards of the Coasts, so the game is now, roughly speaking, an engine, and the user adds all the graphics to the game on his own by downloading from forum. Only on ios it will not work, so contact the copyright holders.

@spacediver

Write to the guys from BoardGameArena, they ported a lot of games to the web version.
