Restoring a mov.file with a NEX editor?

Dear.
I am looking for any help. After restoring a dead hard drive, many broken mov. files. I tried many different programs, but they completely do not cope with this task, especially with larger video files. I read on the forums that you can find out about the status of this file through nex editors. I threw one of the broken files into such an editor and it seems like there is information on it. Also, the file weighs almost the same as before the breakdown. The question is - can anyone recover files using the nex editor? I read on the forum that this is possible.
