Restore Psole from LVM Snapshot Needs a Reboot?

1. Created a snapshot of the home partition with the command: lvcreate
2. Created a test file in the home partition
3. Restored the snapshot with the lvconvert --merge command
4. But the test file from the home partition disappears only after the system is rebooted...
It turns out that you can recover from the snapshot only through reboot? Or do I need to play with mounting and unmounting partitions? :(

It is necessary to unmount the partition before recovery, and mount it back after recovery. If you restore "live", then the data will be inconsistent.
