Restarting the computer on startup?

Hello friends! I have an old computer... it has an NVIDIA TNT2 RIVA 64PRO 32MB RAM graphics card. On this video card, it works stably .. and does not complain about anything. But they brought me a brand new video card "Speaking new, I mean that I got it not so long ago" It is called Nvidia Geforce FX 5200 128MB RAM. So .. she worked for me for about 2 months, and trouble happened ... after the next day, as always, I turned off the computer, nothing specific happened .. but in the morning I found out .. that when I turned on the PC .. on the screen an inscription appears with the model .. and with the amount of memory of the video card, then in 2-5 seconds a black screen and the computer restarts ... this procedure does not last for a certain period, even if it is set for a day, it will work. What could be the problem? (Video card - does not smell like burnt, nothing is swollen on it, cooling is not from the cooler.)

Figase. I never thought that in 2016 I would hear the name Riva TNT2. Went to clubs with friends to play Quake 2 and Quake 3 on such... 17 years ago .
The power supply must have lost so much power over the years of operation that the new card finally finished it off. If the computer does not complain with the old video card, then return it. Although if you have such old hardware in it, then every component is potentially dying there, and in a good way it's time to send this rubbish under the tractor. Well, ordinary computer hardware is not designed for such a period - that's all; no matter what you do with it, no one can guarantee its performance.

Are there any system sounds? If you do not have a system speaker installed on the motherboard, then we can only answer your question when we get into the system unit ourselves, since this is clearly not a software problem. Otherwise, if your computer makes any sounds when loading the BIOS, then you need to write about it, since the cause of the problem lies in these very sounds. More precisely, by the sounds we can determine the malfunction.

Did you notice something unusual? Was it like this before? Did something change? Is the computer new?
If not, then most likely the video card is overheating or percent. possibly a bridge. In such cases, the system is cut down.
Possibly a system error. As they said, the power supply.
