We decided on the task, then there is the question of how to give data. I watched a bunch of articles on the Internet, both the first and the second have advantages (the second seems to me more familiar, I requested a specific URL, passed parameters - received, no methods, etc.). There is an example of a REST client in the AngularJS tutorial, so the question with the choice should have been discarded, but no ... but by googling I come across articles where REST is mainly used for mobile or API clients (In principle, AngularJS acts as a client)

What is used to return data client?

$resource module module is perfect for REST, and it's better to use it.
