REST API has a request limit?

Implemented a REST API for a site on the BUS as an external application with OAuth2 authorization). For Bitrix24, the documentation and courses indicate a limit of 2 requests per second, while the domain in the example is Bitrix24:

https://домен_Б24.bitrix24.{ru|com|de}/rest/имя_метода.транспорт

In my case, both authorization and processing of REST requests are performed by my site.
Would the 2 requests per second limit work? "Activity control" (in edition "Business") takes into account REST requests?
