They asked to recover data from a Toshiba laptop disk. Is it possible to reset the ATA password on the Toshiba MK5075GSX hard drive model, even if there is no access to Bios (it only comes in if the hard drive is removed, when the drive is inserted it asks for a password)?

Unfortunately, doing something on your own in this case will almost certainly not work. If we are talking about fundamentally resetting the password using the same laptop, then I don’t see any options at all.
