Replacing the BIOS battery and that's it - or something more complicated?

Desktop computer, Core i5 4th generation. Bought second-hand, from a trusted person, according to the owner, the year lay idle. After that, he worked in the tail and in the mane for three years.
Sometimes, extremely rarely - twice since the New Year - the BIOS settings go astray.
The clock is running fine.
I replaced the battery, on the old 2.4 volts.
Is that all there is to it - or is there a suspicion of more complex problems?
