Replacing the AC adapter, how and what?
Hello, yesterday I got a device with an American 110v power supply, I didn’t know this and connected it to a 220 outlet, electrolyte leaked out of it and in general everything is not very good, but it worked yesterday. It has data input AC100-120 0.4A, output 24v 0.75A. Is it possible to replace this power supply with this: input 100-240v 1.4A 50-60hz, output 19v 4.74A.
This is written on the device itself - rating 5v = 100mA, rating 24v 750mA

Depends on the device. According to the requirements, he needs 24V, and the new power supply produces 19V. But in any case, the power is probably being converted in the device, perhaps 19V is enough for it. If a new power supply is on hand, then try connecting it, it may work. And if you only want to buy, then it is better to look for one that produces 24V.
