How to choose a power supply for a NetBook?
NetBook Malata BT 9001 was inherited, without a power supply. A person does not know what kind of power supply he has, the Internet also does not show anything sensible, only I find batteries for it.
The connector is marked 12v, the current strength is not indicated, the battery is 7.4v, 4400mAh and many, many Chinese characters.
The question itself is that I found a couple of power supplies from other models of this company on the Internet, the current strength is 2.5A - 4A, so if I connect a 12v, 7A power supply, and it is designed for 12v, 3A, will I burn it?
What BP do you need?
It seems to me that a PSU is needed in which the voltage of 12v will be observed, and the current strength will be lower than required, otherwise I will burn the device. Am I right?

No not right. Everything is exactly the opposite. the voltage must match, the current must not be less, otherwise you will overload the power supply.
In stores, a bunch of universal power supplies for laptops
come with 10-20 connectors + they can adjust themselves to the desired volts and amps.
knowing the volts and having a laptop at hand is not a problem to pick one up
