Replacing dns servers for a domain?

After analyzing the site loading speed, I saw that 1/3 of the time is taken by dns request-response.

When registering a domain, hosting usually also issues dns records. But as far as I understand they can be replaced by others. Actually the question is, are there dns servers that can speed up the answer or I didn’t understand something

If the domain name registrar is not a reseller, but is actually accredited by ICANN, then usually there is no problem with NS. I would like to draw your attention to your test. At one time, SEO-shniki got me because I had a long DNS query. But after my question, where, in their opinion, is the audience of the site and from which country they DNS is testing - they fell silent :) Your question has a place to be, but look, change NS and everything will be OK on your test computer, and clients will disappear.

Yes, there are plenty of DNS hostings (both paid and free) with servers located close to users.
For example, for the Russian Federation, you can use https://yandex.ru/support/connect/dns-editor.html
If users are from different regions, a service with ip anycast, for example dnsmadeeasy.
If you use the NSs of your hosting provider, which are physically located far from the site's target audience, then yes, requests will slightly increase the site load time.
