Renewing your CloudFlare certificate?

Hello!
There is a site with https and an installed certificate from reg.ru
I put this site on CloudFlare.
A year has passed and a letter came from reg.ru that the certificate needs to be renewed. But the site has a certificate from CloudFlare and it is installed automatically when you add the site to the control panel.
Please tell me if I need to renew the certificate from reg.ru?

If CloudFlare works in proxy mode, then clients (site visitors) receive a CloudFlare certificate. But, between CloudFlare and your server, the connection can also be either HTTP or HTTPS (HTTPS is recommended). If it is HTTPS, then you need to renew the second certificate installed on your server, otherwise CloudFlare will not be able to communicate with your site after it expires.
The settings in the SSL / TLS section in the CloudFlare admin panel are responsible for this:
However, this does not have to be a paid certificate from reg.ru - you can use a free one from Let's Encrypt on the server itself or generate a certificate from CloudFlare in the Origin Server tab (and install it on your server), which will be valid for this link - the connection between the CF and your server via HTTPS:
Personally, I prefer Let's Encrypt - free, auto-renewal by the server itself. Once set up and forgotten - everything works like a Swiss watch.
