Rename weight to area, and kg to m2?

You need to rename the shipping attribute in WooCommerce of the product Weight to Area and, accordingly, the dimension of kg to m2.
I know the simplest way to fix the translation, but I would like to do it through function.php, so that later one day when the translation is updated, everything will not go to hell.
I know that this can be done in the manner of replacing tab names:
$tabs['additional_information']['title'] = 'Characteristics';
But I can’t remember the names of the variables, and a search on the Internet did not give any results.
Has anyone done something similar before???
