Remote connection to MAC - how to replace RDP?

Hello!
There are several iMAKs to which you need to connect from home. Connections will be from both Macs and Windows.
Advise the most convenient way to replace the screw RDP (not the client, but the "server").
I tried to use various VNC - all of them are not able to "scale" the session and with the iMAK extension 6400x3600, very slow rendering is obtained (

Perhaps in iMAK not everything is as simple as in Windows and it also needs to be "prepared" for this?

VNC is very poor compared to RDP, you need to look for the RDP protocol server, and then painfully screw it to the poppy. https://github.com/neutrinolabs/xrdp/wiki/Building...
