Remember everything: how do you deal with remembering and retaining information in memory?

I feel difficult to remember.
By occupation, I use PHP, Python, sometimes JS + add. tools for this job.

Used some kind of framework for the task - great, task solved.
But three months have passed - without Google I won’t write a line of a line with it. Yes, something has sunk superficially, but every time I am horrified at how much information, even with active use, has gone into oblivion if something has not been used for some time.
And everything would be fine, but so many courses were viewed, conferences, videos - but what's the point if little has settled. What is not used actively and every day is forgotten very quickly. And sometimes I look at my own code written once and I don’t remember if it’s my creation - fortunately there are comments.

I tried notes / blog, but it turns out to be no better than Google - you still have to climb there, because. nothing remains in my head. Once memorized with enthusiasm, interest, information, six months later, leaves only impressions in my memories, but not a useful layer of what will help to use it without Google and docks.

How to grow if it feels like some kind of forgetful June?
Do you have such problems and how do you deal with it, what helps?

Yes, I can’t cope, it’s all by itself.
yes, you forget something, but it still sits somewhere in the subcortex. and when you start reading/google it pops up.
at least that's how it is for me. Naturally, we are talking about what we already knew.

You don't need to remember everything. And what needs to be postponed by practice plus a little theory

Judging by the description, you have been programming for many years, making good money, pretending that June and you just have an autumn blues
Take a good girl or wife and drive to a sunny country on vacation for a couple of weeks in the bright sun to return you to service

It does not go into oblivion, but simply goes to a distant warehouse. It will take - it will pop up.

Why remember all this? This is already some kind of exceptional memory akin to genius. Normally, any person should forget what he has not used for a long time.
It's impossible to fight it. Just write down different notes in your notebook, make notes, write comments. In part, anyway, something will be forgotten if it has not been touched for a long time. I forgot almost all of the mathematical analysis, because I had not worked with it for more than 10 years, although before all these integrals and so on clicked like nuts. But if you suddenly need it again, it will not be difficult to remember - I will re-read the theory again.

As already mentioned above, the head is not for remembering everything. Yes, a lot is forgotten. But if you regularly work with a certain technology, you definitely know it well.
I do so I have simplenote in it several sections on different technologies. I write there key, rare commands, sometimes small recipes of how I did it. Then when I need to remember something, I climb into the appropriate section.

Personally, I use Notion, it's fast and easy. Everything can be stored there. From code snippets to pieces of web pages.
For training interval memory, there is Anki. Cross-platform and convenience + free
