Remains of Linux?

Hello everyone, I recently tried to install Linux, I succeeded, but I decided to go back to Windows and Linux left me its gifts. Removing Linux turned out to be a rather problematic situation for me, I removed it like this - I went to the very beginning using a bootable flash drive, allocated free space for Windows (700GB NTFS) and that's it. I installed Windows in this place, but now the question is: how can I return the 300GB that were left there.

I managed to format that volume, but I can't merge it

Try formatting with diskpart (the standard disk management utility in windows).

Try using some bootable flash drive like Acronis and expand the partition to the free space from there. This should work, but it will take a long time.

I would suggest simply rearranging Windows, taking to hell with this logical volume that no one needs (with two partitions). Dancing with utilities that stretch the system partition on it will take about the same amount of time, and they can also suddenly end with a non-working system. Meaning?

Read here. There is dangling information for downloading, all sorts of rekoveri and eufi.
Removing it is difficult or impossible depending on your environment, well, or break everything

So reinstall Windows and merge everything during installation

Restart the installation of Windows, delete ALL partitions, select the unallocated area and click install, agree with the creation of partitions.

It is not very clear how your hand-to-hand attitude related to Linux. You can expand the partition with any partition formatting utility, from view recovery, from Linux live with Acronis and anything. If you do not pull out to expand - reinstall Windu.
