Relevant domains in these zones, worth buying?

For the sake of interest, is it worth buying 3rd level domains, if so, why?
For example, DomenName.spb.ru or DomenName.msk.ru
- in theory, such domains are strengthened in a certain area better.
-On the other hand, a 3rd level domain is worse than a 2nd level domain.
-domains of the 3rd level are tempting only because you can find the desired name there, well, or a short one.

If you started, how do you like the zones .one .me .cc and the rest?

If it is possible to register a 2-level domain in the desired zone, it is better to do just that. I personally do not see any special advantages in registering a 3-level domain.
As for domain.me domain.cc and other ccTLDs, it is worth taking it for a serious project only if the domain name looks interesting/creative/beautiful as a result of zone selection. In other situations, it is better to take either a domain tied to the desired geographic area or from the general list of gTLDs. Google help page on this topic .
