Reinstalling Windows for accountants?

The question arose of reinstalling Windows with accountants, the problem is that computers have “their” programs that can only be installed by calling a specialist and not without unnecessary paperwork (3-4 weeks).
Is it possible to somehow copy / save all programs from the computer, reinstall and run them on a new OS?
windows 7

I remember there was such a Norton Ghost - he made complete casts of the system.

Depends on what kind of programs. Some will be easy to transfer, with some fuss so much that it is better not to get involved. In addition, in rare cases, incompatibility with Win7 may surface.
You can make a backup (disk image) with something like Acronis True Image and then try transferring. In case of failure, you can always return to the working state.
In general, a backup before such movements is necessary.

You can use the backup built into Win7. Whether it will recover on another hardware - I don’t know, I haven’t tried it. It makes sense to check this before doing something irreversible. This is the second backup rule :)
1. Make backups regularly
2. Check their performance
Item 2 does not apply to a full system restore if you have one computer from which you made the image. With a broken image, a dead system will also turn out. But in your case, it's worth trying to restore to another.

most often a gag with the registry.
you need to copy the necessary registry branches (if you are not looking for a simple search in regedit by the name of the program / company, then you can use Process Monitor).
And of course, at the first stage, make a backup of one computer, and carry out all actions only with it, and only after checking the success of the transfer, take on the rest.

You still have to approach each such program individually.
I once had something similar - the transfer of all the “boo-software” to another computer. Using procmon, you copy to the new Windows everything that the accounting software “looks” on the old computer - registry branches with data, files, ODBC settings and connections, etc.

If it’s 1C, then you don’t need to worry, just after reinstalling you need to write to their licensing center, with the reason for reinstalling the operating system, and they will send the keys, the whole procedure will take half an hour.

If we are talking about something like Crypto-Pro, then the instructions that came with the kit are enough to reinstall. Private keys are simply exported to files and transferred.

Most likely there will be an ambush with certificates, now electronic keys are everywhere, both in banks and in the tax office, etc. Therefore, they must be carefully transferred.
So first of all - a backup of the hard disk image, so that if anything you can completely roll back. Secondly, we find out what kind of cryptoware is and smoke manuals for it.

I’m just dealing with 8 bukhs ... from software
1) 1C - don’t worry - everything is tied to HASP keys - the key is not in the computer, see where the
hethasp.ini network is installed
NH_SERVER_ADDR = 192.168.1.**
2) online services like “Partner” - there are certificates, they should be flash drives with software and certificates (CryptPRO)
3) CryptPRO itself (look in the control panel / installed programs)
4) Sberbank client - just copy it along similar paths, but it requires reconfiguring it through the native ConfigWC.exe utility (you need data, a piece of paper A4 must be with parameters), register a lib for the printer and call the bank so that they reset the binding to old computers (everything is googled). VPN client can be taken from the developer's
website
6) client bank from xs of which bank - simple copying - nothing at all

90% you will not succeed, because. these programs for the most part will not start with simple copying!
an exception may fall into the type of a client bank, there are banks whose client bank can work from a flash drive without registering anywhere.
Taxpayer - installed on the server, and clients work from it.

There is software for creating portable applications, you install it once on one computer, then copy-paste to all the others, everything works.
Read more on the wiki
. I would recommend spoon studio, but it's very expensive.
