Refilling or buying a cartridge?

Hello.

Actually the question itself: There is a TASKalfa

4012i MFP (an expensive joke with a bunch of special stages)

The original cartridge costs 14 tr., with our print volume it lasted for about a year (2 cartridges - 2 years)

, arguing that it can happen (from low-quality toner and deterioration in print quality subsequently to the failure of the MFP components (photodrum, etc.)).

Who is right? Or, by and large, nothing will happen from refueling?

I advise you to take the original , do not take a compatible cartridge. And even more so, do not manage.
In which case, the repair will cost more than the original cartridge.

expensive joke with a bunch of extras
Given the capabilities of the device, it is not so expensive, and the price is quite adequate. The question is why is he in an office that produces a resource of one cartridge for a year?
After all, the print volume of this thing is quite impressive, and usually such devices are taken in cases of a large
print volume.

There will be nothing terrible from competent refilling, unless the manufacturer makes money on you.

You can refuel, don't care, with such a volume of printing, any negative effect from refueling, if it suddenly manifests itself, it will be in 10 years, that is, either a donkey, or an emir, or you, will no longer be in business.
It seems reasonable to me to replace this fool with something simple with a refueling of 300 rubles. Ideally, sell it and use the proceeds for useful purposes.

This is not the first time we refill cartridges for this type of Kiocera (albeit without a "heap of special stages"), I don't notice any difference with the original, and I don't notice any problems with the printer itself either.

A lot depends on the ink. in the case of inkjet inks, it happens that the colors of unofficial inks fade much faster. secondly, the nozzles can become clogged (now it seems to me rarely).
