How to make Canon i-SENSYS MF4660PL MFP connected via Ethernet network scan?

There is a Canon i-SENSYS MF4660PL MFP, how to make it scan over the network on computers with Windows XP, Windows 7? The MFP is connected to a local network (via Ethernet).
MF Toolbox on Win7 does not see the scanner at all, and on Win XP it sees the scanner installed in the system from this MFP, but the scanner has a COM1 or COM2 port, while the scanner is not available, and it is not known how to change the port to AUTO or another correct one.
At the same time, the MFP prints over the network, although not without the fact that sometimes it refuses to do this for unknown reasons.

I did not check, but can this device scan and send to e-mail?
It’s just that this mode is used everywhere, it’s extremely convenient)

You need to install the MF Scan utility (ScanTool ) first. Must be bundled with the MFP on disk. Install only under local admin account. Running the installer as admin doesn't work. Set up net scan and toolbox
