Recommend an editor for fine editing large (1..20 GB) text files in Win?

The task is to edit the header at the beginning and the footer at the end of the file among a bunch of lines.
Vim does a great job with the first one, and with the second one, editors die when going to the end of the file.
Thanks in advance.
PS And if he knows how to edit / delete a couple of lines in the middle of the file relatively quickly, then he will not be worth the price (but this is unlikely to happen).
