Recommend a router
For several years now, the old D-Link DIR-320 has served me faithfully. He is good for everyone, but, unfortunately, he began to freeze, and his appetites grew. In this connection, a worthy replacement is being sought.
Minimum candidate requirements:
1. Wi-Fi: 802.11n
2. WAN → LAN: 100Mbps
3. LAN → LAN (Ethernet): 1Gbps
4. Ability to install alternative firmware and software
5. USB
6. Low price
7 .Glitchless

Zyxel Keenetic Giga
after using a couple of dlink routers for me, zyxel is just a miracle, no tambourines are needed, everything just works. It may not only go through the point about alternative firmware (however, the standard firmware is very good, and there is a completely different firmware 2.0 from Zyxel itself, but, as they say, it is designed for pros and I am afraid to install it myself.)
The not high price of the concept is relative, and so that it would not be buggy at all, no one and never happens.
Personally, I now have an ASUS RT-N16.
For more reasonable money, I suggest looking at TP-LINK TL-WR1043ND
I would look at ASUS RT-N56U I use very good and as previously said TP-LINK TL-WR1043ND
If I discard the firmware, I would take a Mikrotik, there are options with Wi-Fi.
But I would put a separate point for Wi-Fi)
I have RT-N16, DD-WRT is the last one... The problem is overheating, even with a radiator, at 35 degrees it is saved by air cooling ... In general, I would not recommend it, although if it is constantly around 25 C in the apartment, it runs quite well and on stock firmware, but sometimes stupid ...
I'm going to change to: Linksys E2000
market .
TP-LINK TL-WR1043ND + DD-WRT + connected printer via usb - a fairy tale - works with a bang, sometimes I squeeze out 11 megabytes / s
If it is possible to wait, then it is better to order a “small office” level router from ebay. I have a Linksys WRVS4400N at home, it cost ~ $54 with shipping - that's how I threw it on a closet a year ago, that's how it works there. During this time, if it turned off, it was only when I de-energized the apartment. After various dlinks, Linksys home level, it's just some kind of holiday. I have more than enough devices at home, and the previous routers hung up.
