Recommend a portable audio player (popularly just an mp3 player)

Hello. I choose an audio player for myself. The main requirement: sound quality. budget ~ 4500 Russian rubles.
So far, the choice has settled on cowon d2 or, for example, ipod video + rockbox. The player is new or used - it does not matter.

Help with advice, otherwise I have already climbed a bunch of forums. Among the holivar, finding something sensible turned out to be a rather non-trivial task.
Do not offer to listen from the phone =) Noontec zoro headphones.

Sansa Clip+. If you are a little friendly with English, here is an article comparing Sansa Clip + with iPod 3G. 2011 article, but IMHO very objective. A lot could have changed since then, maybe there are better options, but if I had chosen a player, I would have bought Sansa.

Costs 2 thousand rubles. I have 4GB built-in, there are models with 8GB on board, there is a slot for a USB flash drive (up to 32GB like). Lossless reads. I really like the clip form factor)

Custom rockbox firmware. The volume and sound are cooler than my cell phone. The charge holds 15 hours.

The main requirement: sound quality.

I use Cowon iAudio E2 . I am very pleased with the low weight and good sound (better than the iPhone 4/5).

A year ago, I gave my wife Cowon C2 - the sound is wonderful. She says that she heard a lot of new things even in songs that were heard to holes.
