Recommend a hard drive
Hello.
I'm looking for a hard drive that meets the following requirements:
1) it can be used in a laptop as an internal drive
2) it can be connected via USB as an external drive
Supposedly I need an external USB hard drive with a normal 2.5" drive inside. The only subtlety is the ability to disassemble the disk case and pull out the stuffing from there, in order to insert it into the laptop later, and do such operations regularly.I would be
grateful
if someone could advise a model that can do all this.
disks, SSD will not work for a number of reasons.

Any 2.5" HDD (I would recommend WD) + case or dock station to choose from.
A self-assembly kit consisting of a case and, in fact, a disk is suitable for you. An external drive is best suited to Hachichi, he does not suffer from problems with vibration and deformation of the case. Case - which one do you like more.
There are a number of devices that allow you to connect ordinary screws to the laptop. It is best if the laptop has an external sata port.
I also support the choice in favor of Hitachi. IMHO the most adequate manufacturer in terms of price and quality.

there is an old laptop, screw Hitachi

the status is good, but the write / read speed has fallen. So I was puzzled by buying an external one in a case, just to swap places and use the old one as a USB flash drive.
since it is not a "hardware", compatibility is also of interest, whether it is possible to take any model, or there are subtleties.
In principle, any HDD 2.5 form factor will do, if you take it in terms of reliability, then take it from WD, if you need more speed, then take Seagate, but be prepared to face the fact that some lines have a problematic% of product defects and they are very noisy, but % is 10- There are 15 times faster than WD (special cases), but if you really don’t want to deal with marriage directly and you just need a hard drive for everyday work, and WD annoyed you very much with something, then I recommend Toshiba hard drives. Also look at solid state drives, they are much faster in speed, this is the case when you should take a steam bath with compatibility, but if the financial side does not suit you, then look at ordinary HDDs
