Recently, an update for Windows arrived. Battery frequency dropped to 0.7?
Actually, I went crazy today. I launch the laptop and it has lags in the browser. Looked in the task manager. And there the frequency of the processor is 0.7 Hz. And I don’t have some kind of office pebble (7700hq always kept 3.54, I even lowered it myself in the settings so that it runs on 2.8 from the battery) And then I understood that Windows slipped me a miracle of saving charge, well thanks. From the network, the laptop takes its 3.5. but from the battery 0.7. What could be the problem. Started right after windows update

Have you looked into the power supply? Did you click on the battery in the tray? It's like everything is set up there.
And the version of the axis is also worth specifying.
I had a similar situation. I don’t know about 0.7 GHz, when I turn off the charging, the computer stupidly hangs tightly. Then, with the help of something (I don’t remember what, it was 8 years ago), I determined that when the external power was turned off, the CPU frequency dropped to 200 (!) MHz. As it turned out, the cause of such wild throttling was severe overheating. In my case, I tightly closed my eyes (this is important, otherwise they may burst) and strongly, squeezing my lips with a tube, blew several times into the side ventilation grille. The laptop spat a cloud of dust in my face, stopped overheating and throttling disappeared immediately.
