Read remaining data from a specific partition of a broken HDD
I’m trying to read data using the “HDD Raw Copy Tool” hddguru.com/software/HDD-Raw-Copy-Tool/ but the program tries to read the entire disk and it’s not clear what to do with this image, what software to extract the partition that interests me from it , in addition, the first section is killed in the trash there, and the data from it does not interest me, and the program spends a lot of time trying to read the broken blocks of just the first section.
Question number one, is it possible to copy only the section of interest with something, ideally marking or skipping broken files?
Secondly, if HDD RAW Copy Tool is the right tool, how to extract the necessary data from the resulting image?

GNU ddrescue (a kind of pumped fork of dd) helped me a lot more than once , with the right approach, it pulls out the maximum possible. Naturally, you can set on a specific section or even on part of it.
