Rasberry Pi as a server for remote connections. What application to use?
Please help and advise.
There is a need to remotely connect to servers and computers on the same local network.
Currently using litemanager with no-ip server. I like everything, in addition, the program is paid and works slowly, especially from outside (connection only via tcp, udp does not support). It's time to give it up. The choice fell on using a raspberry pi for this.
The idea is, Use raspberry as a server to connect to windows computers on the same network. It is also important here that there are computers where the desktop should not be blocked.
I want to note that since raspberry will be used as a server on the network, it is enough that it (raspberry) will work in console mode (without a desktop).
VNC is suitable for remote control (especially since it is built into raspbian), but there is no such server mode in it.
Or maybe I didn't find it? Or is there another similar option?
please advise.

Everything has long been invented - to the target VPN network and then to the desired computer. If you want to make a router with a VPN server out of Raspberry, then no one forbids it, but I would take a ready-made router - asus there or mikrotik (because I'm too lazy to mess around).
if you need an analogue of litemanager, use the Rasberry Pi as a server for vnc repeater and ssh server for tunnels.
repeater

and chunkvnc
ssh

and so on there are already ready-made solutions such as VisIT
if you use vnc then there will be no problems with any device
Basically, a VPN is an option, if only I needed it, I would set it up. But others will also use remote control, and here it will be necessary to configure their devices, or make instructions understandable for them.
Of the devices, it only "scares" me the iPhone), and it's not the newest, the 4th, like (I don't understand them).
