Quick start in administering file servers on Linux?

Got a new job as a sysadmin. There are several file servers based on Linux, which I have never encountered in 20 years)))
I don’t know what kind of Linux, I’m leaving on the 6th. What can be a short read to create a basic view in 4 days? How it works, how it works, a set of the most frequently used commands and applications used in solving everyday problems. So that after reading a hundred pages or less, a certain holistic picture gathered in the brain, useful precisely in administration, from which it was possible to "dance" further.

Linux that I have never encountered in 20 years

Are you from IT? :)
The file server is most likely samba
It's also worth reading about file permissions, iptables, distributions and the difference between them (at least deb-based and rpm-based).
Read what is SSH and access to the server by keys. Download and feel some putty thread.
The commands you need are googled in seconds, but you can also read some "Pocket Linux Command Reference".

install virtualbox on your home computer.
install Linux in it.
try to configure something in it, for example, samba, etc.

I would like to see an interview where a Windows admin could get a job as a Linux admin.
I suppose since you were hired with such gaps in technologies that are supposed to be directly dealt with, it means that either the company has a problem with the technical expertise of applicants (hint: you can google questions as they come up and blame everything on your predecessors, since no one can check you), or you get a job "by acquaintance" (which means that they most likely do not expect any real benefit from you)?
