Question for HTC Desire HD owners?

For a long time I planned to buy HTC Desire HD. Literally raved about him.
And now it finally appeared in our region!
But after reading reviews on w3bsit3-dns.com of people who purchased the device, I really don’t even know if it’s worth it or not.
Is it true that:

  • on almost every device, parts are poorly fitted, which results in a rather large gap between the covers;
  • covers break very easily even during normal use;
  • under prolonged load, overheating and reboot occurs;
  • when switching from GSM to WCDMA, a reboot is required;
  • sound cuts out from time to time
  • when listening to the radio, the sound fades by 30 percent after a couple of minutes;

Is it really that bad? What other problems have you noticed?
Is it only in our region, or do they also complain from “foreigners”?
I can't believe that HTC could screw up their new flagship this way.

I am the owner of Desire HD.
The main thing - keep in mind that they usually write to the forum in case of problems. Those who are doing well do not write. Read the topic about any device - you will see that this is one big glitch. ;)
Specifically, according to the above.
1. The problem with slots in the first batches really took place. Read here: w3bsit3-dns.com/forum/index.php?s=&showtopic=201845&view=findpost&p=5788475 They say that the problem is officially recognized and the SC changes the bottom covers under warranty (however, in Russia it's free only for official PCT phones). Perhaps new parties are already going without this problem, I don’t know.
2. Normal use of covers - after buying the phone, remove it once, put the battery and SIM card, put it back on and do not touch it again. In this mode, they do not break exactly. :)
I did not encounter the rest of the listed problems, everything works fine, there are no overheatings.
The battery is weak, yes, but this is a problem for all HTC phones (in pursuit of small thickness and weight, the battery capacity is neglected).

There are gaps - a fact, but not critical, a feature of the case design,
you need to be more careful with the covers and nothing will break, it’s not every day to “pick it”, but you have to pick it off there.
There are sometimes small pop-up software bugs, because the device is still raw, it will all get better in one fell swoop, this is not the first time for the xtc
(!) That's what really kept me from buying this battery life - it, sorry, no.

I'm not the owner of HD, but from the experience of reading w3bsit3-dns.com before buying a classic Desire, I'll say:
The first two points are 92% false and provocative, or just isolated cases of marriage.
All other points are also either fiction / accident, or greatly exaggerated, or will be fixed with the next firmware version.

A little tormented HD from a friend.
> # on almost every device, parts are poorly fitted, which results in a rather large gap between the covers;
- I would not say “sickly”, there is a small gap, it just looks unusual compared to other mobile phones.
> # caps break very easily even under normal use;
- if you pull every day - it will break like many
> # with a long load, overheating and reboot occurs;
- I didn’t even feel heating, compared to my i900
> # sound disappears from time to time;
- Comrade says a lot, he did not complain about this
> What other problems did you notice?

The main problem of the desire series is the battery. This is real trouble.
