Question for 3000 rubles! Why is Windows 7 slow to open files?

OS Windows 7 64-bit with ACDSee32 graphic file viewer installed 2.41
When you double-click on any JPEG file in the Windows folder, be it 200 kb or 30 mb, it takes 5-7 seconds before ACDSee opens with this image.
At the same time, if you create a shortcut for ACDSee on the desktop and drag the file there, then everything happens instantly, without delay.
To someone who can make it so that when I click on a JPEG, I immediately open the picture, without it 5-7 seconds. expectations - 3000 rubles. on account.
For experiments, I post here the very version of the program that I have been using since Windows 95 - https://www.dropbox.com/s/c9svk0vy9rf1cww/ACDSee32... Do not offer another version.

I decided. As for the associations, it’s not that, 5-7 seconds on a mega-hardware is long) The problem is the delay in emulating an old application and checking instructions. The solution to the problem was to keep the hidden acdsee process in memory at autoload. You just need to write a check for the constant execution of the process. For details to the author post)

Put your version in a virtual machine with Windows XP, all files open instantly.
1. Disable any pre-caching, caching, creating previews in ACDSee. ACDSee creates a database of already opened files. Delete it, clean it up or limit its size (cache thumbnails).
2. Run in compatibility mode.
3. Go free - XnView
