Question about migrating iPhoto 11 library and other content to "need advice"

Good day! There is a problem and I can not solve it .. Here is my situation .. can someone come across this? At home there is Internet ADSL-Rostelecom is distributed via Wi-Fi. What would you like? - I would like to store multimedia content in the form of an iPhoto 11 library and Video files (movies, series) on a separate external drive so as not to clog and take up space on "computers, phones, tablets" hereinafter referred to as "devices". But at the same time, be able to view this content from any device.. Example: opened a laptop in the kitchen and showed the guests pictures, but at the same time, so that there were no pictures on the laptop, so that he would take them from some kind of carrier ... (via Wi-Fi). Also with movies I downloaded a movie on this medium, it is possible to watch it through a laptop or through a poppy mini connected to a plasma (as a Panasonic VT50 monitor). I read that some kind of NAS server can handle this task! Advise how to be? PS: I can assume that devices on iOS 7 will not be able to work with Mac OS X in this bundle, I would like to at least link devices on Mac OS X .. I would also be happy with the comments of a Synlogy representative ... 50GB doesn't make sense.

Leaving iOS aside, plenty of NAS or Time Capsule will do. The iTunes library on iOS can be accessed as a "home library" by setting up iTunes appropriately on any Mac. I don't know what to do with iPhoto.
