Question about Acronis True Image, is the backup really full?
There is a system drive "C" with Windows XP. I created an image of the whole disk (disk ~ 2Gb, image ~1Gb). But what alerted me - 1) the image was created somehow very quickly (in about a minute) 2) The image is smaller in volume than the occupied disk space (although if the archive is normal.) Maybe paranoia, but I ask for reinsurance. Is it really a FULL disk image? If I FORMAT the "C" drive, then I roll the created image onto it, can I be sure that everything will be PERFECTLY, and Windows, and its loading, and firewood? And with it it will be possible to work fully?

You need to make a disk image and MBR bootloader. Then everything will be OK.
The volume of the image, yes, is less.
I remember when I made images with Acronis, the size of the image was less than the occupied disk space, so everything is fine) To be sure, repeat the procedure :)
The size of the backup depends on the compression level you have set, in some cases it does not include temporary files. There is only one way to check the performance of a backup - deploy it on a computer. Acronis is one of the best backup programs out there, but it has its downfalls too.
