PyCharm slows down quite well for me, can something be done in my case?

I downloaded PyCharm as it is convenient to write on it, but it works slowly and in general hangs quite often.
Here is the data about my hardware:
Processor: Intel Celeron Dual Core 1900 MHz Penryn (T3100)
Bus: 800 MHz 1 Mb L2 Cache.
RAM: 2048 MB DDR3-1333MHz
Screen: 15.6" LED Matte (No Glare)
Resolution: (1366x768) WXGA+
Video card: Intel GMA 4500M, 64+732 MB
Hard disk: 320 GB

Well, just in case, here is a link to my laptop review if not too lazy to look:

PS I know some of you will say just write on sublime text, but please tell me at least some methods at least a little make less brakes.

@bacon

2048 MB is not enough even for Ubuntu itself
