How to install Linux-based distributions on an Acer AO751h netbook?
I'm trying to install a Linux-based distribution kit on an Acer AO751h netbook, but when installed in different places, it freezes tightly: either on partitioning, or on choosing a time zone, when installing Arch, it freezes even in the console. Tried distributions of Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Lubuntu and ect. On the Internet, I found such a solution, they say, choose the boot options: acpi=off, noapic, nolapic, and so on, but of these parameters I did not find the right option, in which the download and installation would work fine. I must say right away that the netbook is 100% working, all Windows operating systems work (but slow down), FreeBSD also works well, but I would like to install a Linux-based system with a lightweight environment, such as lxde, but here is such an ambush.

It's logical to look for information on special forums and forums of owners.
I must say right away that I am not a guru in open source distributions, maybe just knowing what is the difference between BSD and Linux on netbooks will give a solution to my problem?
