How to shift the layout of windows on a panel in MATE?

There is a small problem. Removed several icons from the panel, but the location of the open windows after removing the icons has not changed:

Tell me, how can I move the open windows on the panel? Somehow I already did this, but I stumbled upon it by accident and already forgot.

Most likely, a separator has been added there, or a lot of icons with an unknown icon, or an indent from the application launcher is configured. See applet settings and panel settings
