Is it considered bad practice to use padding, margins and all sorts of hacks when laying out flex?

What kind of hacks? I don't know the padding hack. If you are a pro , then this is expected behavior. In my opinion, this is not quite a hack and the most convenient thing in some cases. margin-left: auto; // left - пример
