Ps3 or ps4 to choose?

Hello everyone, I'm not a fan of consoles and never have been, but I decided to buy myself for entertainment. The question is, should you buy a ps3 already or wait for a ps4? Can I run old games on a new console? And what would you choose.

Don't worry about the new ones - they will be released on PS3 for a long time. And the price of it is not very high now, and after the release of the new generation of consoles, the prices for games will fall. Therefore, if you plan to take the console now - take it, you will not regret it. Nothing is known about the backward compatibility of games.

I haven't heard anything about backwards compatibility.
I own several consoles. Initially, I took each one because of some separate exclusive - PS3 because of MGS4 and GT5, and then Heavy Rain, Uncharted2/3 and GOW3 came out. XBox360 bought because of the Forza, GOW and Halo series.
I have never regretted that I was able to immerse myself in the world of these games. Too bad it didn't make it to PC =(

Games from ps3 to ps4 are not compatible, the only way to launch old games is to wait for Gaikai, they promised to stream old games, but what to take depends on the needs of ps4 games so far much less than on ps3.
