Ps3 or ps4 to choose?

Hello everyone, I'm not a fan of consoles and never have been, but I decided to buy myself for entertainment. The question is, should you buy a ps3 already or wait for a ps4? Can I run old games on a new console? And what would you choose.

Nothing is known about backwards compatibility yet. Most likely, PS3 games will not be able to run on PS4 (although I personally have hopes for Gaikai). If I were you (considering “Money is not a very important factor”), I would now take a PS3 (you can also use it.). This console has a huge number of exclusives, both already released and still being prepared (Beyond, Gran Turismo 6). Yes, and GTA 5 is only announced for PS3/Xbox360. Most multi-platform games will also be released on PS3 for at least a couple of years (albeit with simplified graphics and at 720p).
I have a PS3 myself and there are still a bunch of games in the queue for the passage. And I will take PS4 at the start.

Get a PS3.
Firstly, the console has already been “tested” and there are a huge number of games (and the most delicious - exclusives) on it - you will definitely find a game to your liking. Don't worry about the new ones - they will be released on PS3 for a long time. And the price of it is not very high now, and after the release of the new generation of consoles, the prices for games will fall. Therefore, if you plan to take the console now - take it, you will not regret it. Nothing is known about the backward compatibility of games.

PS4 comes out at the end of the year. Ready to wait so long, choose PS4. If you don't want to, get a PS3 now. There are many games. PS4 seems to support PS3 games, but through some kind of incomprehensible online streaming, with which nothing is clear at the moment.

I haven't heard anything about backwards compatibility.
I own several consoles. Initially, I took each one because of some separate exclusive - PS3 because of MGS4 and GT5, and then Heavy Rain, Uncharted2/3 and GOW3 came out. XBox360 bought because of the Forza, GOW and Halo series.
I have never regretted that I was able to immerse myself in the world of these games. Too bad it didn't make it to PC =(

Take the PS3, you take the console to play, and not to wait for the release of games?

I would wait. I don’t know how it is in the world of consoles, but for example, in the world of iPhones, as soon as 5-4s comes out, it becomes cheaper and so on. In general, if the capabilities of the new set-top box are not particularly important to you, then a discount on the old version is already a reason to wait

Games from ps3 to ps4 are not compatible, the only way to launch old games is to wait for Gaikai, they promised to stream old games, but what to take depends on the needs of ps4 games so far much less than on ps3.
