Proxy on Linksys WRT540GL

Is it possible to raise a proxy on it with a flash drive soldered to this router? For what - from the mobile Internet in my case it does not start up on the required ftp - Bad connecting IP error. I do not want to keep my home PC turned on. If possible, I would be grateful for detailed answers.

If you can upload modified firmware to the router, then why not? Even if Open / DD-WRT don't know how to proxy out of the box (which I doubt), then adding some tinyproxy thread and rebuilding, I think, should not be a big deal.
