Prompt extension for pinned tabs

In general, yesterday I learned about the ability to pin tabs, I liked this opportunity, but one feature is missing. I would like to open all external links in new tabs. Is there an extension to add this functionality?

Now I will make a splash by answering that you need to click on links while holding down 'ctrl'!

Check out Lock Tab , though it doesn't work for Gmail.

There is currently no such extension, and in general, its creation with the existing set of APIs is rather problematic (even rather impossible). Most of the problems are caused by JavaScript navigation (location.href, location.replace) or redirect-response in response to a normal navigation request.
And the banal processing of links on the page is not a very effective solution in the current conditions.
