Educational institutions offer such a format as professional retraining. The duration of such programs is about a year, in the presence of higher education.
If someone has already encountered such programs, collected information, or simply has acquaintances who have studied under these programs, share the information.

I hasten to warn you that from September 1, 2013, absolutely all courses of prof. retraining (not only programmers, in general, everyone) stopped issuing STATE diplomas. Now only diplomas of the ESTABLISHED sample are issued, i.е. without state registration. So, in fact, the state abolished the officiality (legality) of prof. retraining.
Read the order of the Ministry of Education No. 499 of 2013 www.rg.ru/2013/08/28/minobr-dok.html (many letters) paragraph 5 of paragraph 19 , which was changed in the next order and paragraph 11 , which was eliminated in the next order.
And by order No. 1244 of 2013, professional retraining diplomas can be printed even on toilet paper - www.rg.ru/2014/02/05/poryadok-dok.html(few letters), only changes in paragraphs 4, 11 and 19 p5. Op-la-la ..
I myself encountered this with my wife, the wife will just receive a filkin's diploma instead of a diploma the other day.
There is only one way out now - to get a second higher education! Only in this way will there be a STATE diploma.
