How much time to devote to theory/practice?

Everyone says that practice is more important than theory, this is understandable. But many also say that although practice is very important, you still need to devote some amount of time to theory so that there are no gaps in knowledge. The only question is how much time to spend?
I have 8 hours free a day, is it normal if I spend 6 hours working on the program, and 2 hours studying theory (reading a book and solving examples from it)?

The question sounds wild, like "How much time to spend reading recipes, and how much cooking?" No need to separate one from the other and plan an hourly schedule, they learn wrong . Read a chapter of the textbook for as long as it takes to understand the material. Then experiment with examples for as long as you need to figure it out. You go back to re-reading the chapter as many times as needed to clear things up and solve problems. When you finish reading and solve everything, write a pet project for as long as it takes time, returning to the textbook or referring to domainization not on a schedule, but as needed.
