problems with wi-fi

there is a Wi-Fi router connected by a cable to a stationary device and distributing the Internet to a laptop and an android smartphone. when using a computer and phone, the Internet is stable, when you turn on the laptop and connect to Wi-Fi, Internet access for some reason ends and is treated only through save / reboot.
The firmware seems to be the latest.
what could be the problem?

What router? How many years? firmware standard or alternative? Encryption? OS versions? And there is no autostart for a torrent on a laptop for an hour?

I had a similar problem, only with 2 laptops - DHCP is enabled on the router, and IP is clogged on one of the laptops. it happened after resets, the router gave the first laptop that turned on with DHCP an IP clogged in the second - and problems began.
Look at what the router distributes when you turn on your smartphone and laptop - the problem may become clearer.

Is the point operating mode set? Meaning a/b/g/n. If the laptop is very smart, then it can transfer the point to the mode it needs -> all other devices that do not support this mode disappear.
What is the picture from the hospital? Where are the pings?

Have you tried turning off encryption? And is it cut down only in this situation, or does it occasionally fall on its own?
