Problems with adobe air

Unable to install adobe air crashes error:

An error occurred while installing Adobe AIR. The installation may have been disabled by your system administrator. Contact him.

Primitive solutions in the spirit of running from the admin do not help.

I install adobe air on windows 7 x64. adobe air 1.5 used to be installed, but the update didn’t work, and it didn’t work to remove it through the standard uninstall: the same error crashed.

PS I did not find a solution on the net, although such an error occurs not only with me.

I checked the installation, it seems to start, but an error pops up (by the way, these unpacked files are in the temporary folder c:\users\836d~1\appdata\local\temp\air2adb.tmp\ - my case).
In general, the guys from adobe upset me a lot, it turns out the problem is not new and there is more than one topic on it on their forum, but there is no solution. Always answer with a carbon copy. In my opinion, it's not very nice to substitute people who write software on air like that!
During this time, I managed to try everything: all sorts of third-party program uninstallers (Windows Installer Clean Up, Microsoft Fix it, Uninstall Tool), system cleaning and other dances with tambourines, but nothing helped. Except…
Third party installer downloaded from here ninite.com. There is a lot of different free software, select the air checkbox and click at the bottom of the Get Installer page. Then run the program, it will download air and install it in silent mode (no windows or questions). If the program detects an already installed air (non-working, old, etc.), then click on the link above to reinstall. If everything is fine, then the second column will have the status "OK".
PS Adobe it was your job!

A common problem with early versions of AIR. The reason is the clogging of the system with old framework files. It is treated in several ways. The easiest is to download Windows Installer Clean Up and use it to clean up the tails from AIR1.5.

Strange ... Then you need to look at the installer logs. In win7 they are postponed here - C:\Users\user name\AppData\Local\Adobe\AIR\logs
Also here (of.site) the possible causes of the problem and possible solutions are described.

I came across a problem when installing the Yandex application for air - Direct.Commander. He, the infection, did not work without a new version of AIR, which was not installed.
I solved the problem like this:
1. In a clumsy way, through "Run > regedit" - I deleted all entries related to Adobe AIR, through a banal search.
2. Installed Adobe AIR from ninte.com via their installer.
3. Works)))
