Problem with Logitech Anywhere MX

After the fall of the Logitech Anywhere MX mouse, the left button began to work with problems: instead of a click, it sometimes works double, and if you hold and drag (to select, for example), the selection is often lost in the process.

Actually, you can still do something with it, or can you immediately send it to the bucket?

A lot has already been written about logitech warranty service on Habré . Why don't you try it too?

Had the same problem. It is treated elementarily, but the mouse will have to be disassembled.
First of all, after disassembling the mouse, look at the place with which the mouse button presses the mikrik, it may have worn off a little (like mine), try to level it with the rest of the surface.
If this does not help, then you need to disassemble the mikrik itself, clean its contact parts with fine sandpaper and soak in alcohol. This will 100% help. Here it is sensibly described what needs to be done: http://blog.fanfrog.rf/logitech-anywhere-mouse-mx-...

Write about the results later.

There was the same problem, only the mouse did not fall, but simply started to double-click. I searched on Google and realized that I was not the only one who encountered this - there is such a glitch in this rat. I wrote to support, and after 4 days a new mouse arrived.

Similarly, I encountered the problem of double-clicking on Logitech Nano and Anywhere MX mice - write to support, this is a warranty case and a new mouse will be sent to you.

The first mouse with this problem was replaced under warranty, it was later opened and the problem was fixed in the indicated way, but aesthetically it greatly disfigures the stickers from below and makes them uneven. After some time, the second mouse began to fail :-( The problem was fixed in the following, ingeniously simple way: the front part of the left button is lifted with ordinary clerical scissors (it comes out quite easily with minimal effort), after which the same hole is compared with the blade of one half of the scissors by It is necessary to remove a fraction of a millimeter no more. You can do this with a needle file, preferably semicircular.
